ROGUE DNA PRODUCTS
These fall into three categories:
- page scanners
- swipe scanners
- ultra-violet highlighting strips
The page and swipe scanners are designed to authenticate that a document is the original and has not been modified, while the UV strips are designed to highlight the presence of UV responsive content in a document or plastic card.
The revolutionary Rogue DNA full page scanner represents a quantum leap forward in counterfeit detection. It is designed to read and authenticate paper documents and plastic cards. RDNA scans the document, aligns the image, and parses it into its different information areas. It captures a high-resolution image of each and then processes each image as appropriate to extract its information. The page scanner is currently available in two sizes – the 6320s for passport-sized documents, and the 6320l for letter/A4 sized pages.

RDNA Swipe Technology is packaged primarily as a scanhead and associated software. This is designed to be integrated into third-party readers (e.g. passport readers, credit card readers, etc). Rogue DNA also markets complete scanners, and will produce customized scanners to a client’s specification.
The RDNA swipe-based product line includes document and card scanners. While they can be used as supplied, they can also be customized to individual requirements. All units come with a comprehensive software suite which supports, at the user’s request, either client-server, application-server, or stand-alone PC architectures.

Rogue DNA UV strips are highly innovative LED-based units that are so powerful that they will work well in broad daylight or bright office lighting. They are designed to be attached below a monitor casing, drawer, shelf, dashboard, etc, so take no space. Being LED-based they are extremely reliable. Software protected, they are typically powered through 5v USB, or alternatively through a 12v or 16v power supply. The example below is a version that has been installed in police cruisers and incorporates very high-powered UV and white light LEDs together with a manual switch.
