In many cases a customer application will already use document or card readers, and they will want RDNA capabilities added to them rather than have to use additional scanners. To meet this need, RDNA technology is available on an OEM basis as a secure scanhead which can be integrated into existing devices such as the MICR readers used by banks, OCR-B readers used at border crossings, etc. RDNA is equipped to provide customization services which will facilitate the implementation.
The above approach enables multiple types of scan to be made with one swipe. Multiple scanheads can be built into an array, enabling different areas on the document to be registered, again with a single swipe.
The accompanying RDNA software incorporates an API, enabling it to be integrated into an existing user application. Because the RDNA process is non-invasive, it can be added to security, registration or verification applications without any major change to them.
